Polish Stew

1: Preheat your pot to medium heat.

2: Add the oil, then the onion and carrot. Sauté for 3 minutes.

3: Add the butter and let it melt.

4: Add the flour and mix thoroughly. Sauté for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5: Add the chicken stock, bouillon, and potatoes and mix.

6: Bring to a boil on medium and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork tender.

7: Add the kielbasa, sauerkraut, and heavy cream. Simmer for another 5 minutes.

8: Add salt and pepper and taste for correct seasoning.

9: Top with fresh or dried dill before serving (optional).
